Nobody said it would be easy to become the Fisher King. Here's how you can get started.
Cast your fishing line into the pond by holding down the cast button.
Holding the button down longer results in the line being thrown further. Longer casts consume more energy but increase the chances of hooking more valuable and challenging fish.
Short cast (1m - 2m): 1 energy
Medium cast (3m - 4m): 2 energy
Long cast (5m - 6m): 3 energy
Balance risk and reward by keeping an eye on your energy level. Higher level fish are harder to catch and cost more energy, but provide more rewards
Players have the option to do multiple casts at once. This costs 5x the amount of energy and bait, but players will receive 5x the reward.
After casting, you wait. Just like in real life! (jk it's faster to get a bite here)
Successful bites are signaled by splashing. Timing is crucial—reacting too late or mistaking a nudge for a bite results in a failed attempt and wasted energy. Although, we do thank you for cleaning up the waterway!
Once a fish is on the line, you must keep the fish icon within a moving capture zone by tapping or holding the screen.
The difficulty increases with the cast distance, as the fish icon moves more erratically at higher speeds.
Successfully reeling in the fish fills a capture bar; once full, the fish is caught.
Once the fish has been caught, sell them for gold by pressing the "Sell Fish for Gold" option at the bottom right of the screen.
Buy more items in the shop with the gold earned in order to gain more energy for more fishing attempts, or buy items that will allow you to catch better fish, like Bait!
If you run out of fish to sell, more Gold can be purchased with ETH.
