Detailed Drop Rates

Here's catch rate info to get you ahead of the pack, if you do your math right!

• Fishing Level: Increases drop weight of rare and higher tier fish as fishing level increases

• Cast length: Longer cast ranges provides a higher chance of dropping higher rarity fish

• Bait level: Provides a boost to the drop weights, based on the type of bait equipped

  • Small bait: 250% boost to Rare fish drop weight

  • Medium bait: 200% boost to Epic fish drop weight

  • Big bait: 150% boost to Legendary fish drop weight

Drop weight is used in calculations for final drop rates: (drop weight of current rarity tier) / Sum (drop weight of all tiers).
