Fishing Challenge Events

Rift Encounters are special fishing encounters that can occur during specific events.

When any fish is caught during the event, there is a chance of the catch triggering a Rift Encounter, depending on the fish's rarity and whether it is shiny.

If the encounter is triggered, the fish can be sacrificed to challenge the Encounter, which is more difficult than normal.

Upon successfully passing the Encounter, it is possible to receive special Rift Fish as a reward, or the sacrificed fish back. Note that the Encounter does not grant any fishing EXP.

Rift Fish

Rift Fish can be used to exchange for the Card Shark legendary pet, requiring 1 Rift Fish of each rarity.

Additionally, Rift Fish will be made available for collection in the Aquarium in the future for a limited time. They will grant individual level rewards, appear in the Aquarium, but not grant overall Collection EXP.

There are no shiny versions of Rift Fish.
