Meet Finn the Merchant, now visiting Tradehaven. Players can submit sell offers to Finn, who may buy back Points and Emblems before their conversion into future rewards.
Finn the Merchant will be only available during the Ignition Phase.
Why are we doing this?
Finn the Merchant’s visit is a special one-off event that allows us to better understand player behavior and expectations in Fishing Frenzy. Our goal is to see how much players would be willing to sell points and emblems for, and potentially match that with interested buyers.
How Finn Works
Players can submit any number of (irreversible) offers to sell Points and Emblems.
Players cannot edit or withdraw offers once they are made
Submitting an offer does NOT guarantee a successful trade.
Finn will aggregate these sell offers and match with interested buyers.
Finn may buy back Points and Emblems for USDC, starting with the lowest prices (see below)
The end date for Finn’s visit will be announced later. Buybacks will likely not occur until around the end of the Ignition Phase.

We are trialing a new way to buy from Finn via our OTC website: finn.fishingfrenzy.co
How to buy
Step 1: Connect your wallet to finn.fishingfrenzy.co. Scroll down and fill in your email.
Step 2: Deposit 50 $RON to this escrow address: 0x70b9dabc13B24bE7dFfF9dAC163D03CB3a204294 — Only deposit on Ronin mainnet
Step 3: Once approved (should take 24 hrs), you can make buy offers at any price you are willing to pay. All buyers & sellers will receive the same clearing price which will be settled periodically before TGE.
Question: How much are emblems or points worth?
That is up to you to decide. In order to inform your prediction, you can visit the Price Estimator which shows the total supply of points and emblems.
Question: How do I make a buy offer (bid)?
Connect to finn.fishingfrenzy.co, become an approved buyer, and click on the chart to make an offer.
Question: How do I make a sell offer (ask)?
Login to fishingfrenzy.co and click on Finn the Merchant to submit sell offers.
Question: Why is there an escrow and what happens to it?
All funds will be returned to users upon the end of Finn the Merchant. If users make a bid but do not finalise the payment, the escrow will not be returned. This is because any unfulfilled bids messes up with the pricing and settlement of other buyers and sellers. The escrow ensures only serious bidders are participating.
Question: How will OTC be settled?
We will calculate the clearing price based on the price where the quantity of items in demand = quantity in supply. All buyers get the same price (even if they bid higher) and will be asked to make payment manually. Points and emblems will be transferred between the relevant accounts prior to their conversion to tokens upon TGE.
Question: How does the Price Estimator work?
Players input their own assumption on the price per item and % token allocation that the item will receive, and then the calculator will output the implied FDV of the token.
As an example (and example only) :
Player assumes Emblems to be worth $0.1 each
Player assumes Emblems will receive 5% of the total token allocation (out of 100%)
The implied FDV of the token would be $4,478,065
