# Special Event: Cooking Contest

Introducing the Fishing Frenzy cooking contest! **One-off event** from **May 8th - May 15th**! Be one of the **top 500** chefs to win a share of a **10,000 $RON** prize pool.

**Why are we doing this?**
This is a special **one-off** event that allows us to test ideas for future systems and features. We believe there is a lot to learn when it comes to building fun, onchain economies and short experiments are one of the best ways to improve and grow.
**How it works**
* Play Fishing Frenzy from May 8th to May 15th.
* Be one of the top 500 players in the **cooking** leaderboard to share in a **bonus prize pool** of 10k $RON

No funny business or cheating allowed. You may be disqualified from rewards if there is suspicious behaviour.

**Rewards Structure**
Players who end the week in the top 500 places will receive bonus $RON rewards. This is additional to the standard leaderboard rewards of Chests and Frenzy Points
